PENN Custom Shop reels are made on an individual basis so you can be assured your reel is one of a kind. PENN is proud to build these reels in the USA by some of the most experienced reel craftsmen in the industry. Each Custom Shop reel is built with the same high standards as other PENN products, which are made to last a lifetime with proper care and maintenance.

Ordering Parts

In the event your reel should need parts, please contact the PENN parts and repair department at 800.892.5444. When ordering parts for your PENN Custom Shop reel, the color code must be a suffix to the part number. See color code below:

  • SLV: International Silver
  • SMK: Gun Smoke
  • BLK: Solid Black
  • PNK: Tournament Pink
  • RED: American Red
  • BLU: American Blue

For example, if you need to replace a gun smoke spool on an 80VSW then the suffix would be "SMK" for gun smoke plus the part number: 029L080VSWSMK. Please see the schematics included with your reel for more detail or visit www.pennreels.com to view schematics online.

Your reel is customized specifically for you so any warranty or return issues should be handled directly with PENN, not the dealer. If an issue should arise, please contact us.

PENN Warranty Info

PENN warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage or malfunctions caused by accident, abuse or normal expected wear. If your PENN Product has a defect within the terms of the warranty, you should return it to us at the address listed below. All shipping and insurance costs and transportation arrangements will be borne by you and are your responsibility. We will repair or replace the product, at our option, without further cost to you, (including free return transportation and insurance). If, however, the repair is not covered by the provisions of this warranty, your PENN product will be repaired and returned to you at a reasonable charge for labor, parts and return transportation and insurance.

ALL WARRANTIES WHICH MAY BE IMPLIED BY OPERATION OF LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. IN NO EVENT SHALL PENN BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY WHICH MAY BE IMPLIED BY LAW. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, AND SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION AND/OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
